An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join our friendly practice team. We are looking to recruit a salaried GP with a view to partnership to cover from 3 sessions per week which is negotiable. An immediate start would be desirable although we are happy to wait for the right candidate if required.
We are a well-established two partner practice which is one of three located within Port Glasgow Health Centre situated within view of the River Clyde with easily commutable links to Glasgow and the Cowal Peninsula.
Our practice team consists of 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 Long term locum and 1 Practice Nurse. Our admin team consists of a Practice Manager, Practice Secretary and 5 helpful medical receptionist/care navigators. We are also supported by the clinical pharmacy team, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, community links worker, CPN’s and are also part of a very collaborative GP Cluster. Our practice population is approximately 4000 patients and we are currently using Emis/Docman until our migration to Vision in late October/November 26.
We also use Docman Dictate software for digital dictation.

We offer 6 weeks annual leave and public holidays (pro rata).
15 min appointment slots – 11 routine appointments for AM surgeries and 10 routine appointments for PM surgeries with extra appointments being a set number.
Each day one GP has a dedicated duty pm surgery which is allocated weekly between the GPs.
