5-7 session GP Partner vacancy. Sessions and days worked can be flexible. Start date – summer/ autumn.
Practice Details: We are based just north of Glasgow, in Kirkintilloch, serving patients in the extended surrounding area. We have a mixed suburban demographic and a list size of 11,000. In recent years our list size has increased and so we are now seeking an additional partner to join our team. Currently we have seven partners and three salaried GPs. We have a contract with one local nursing home. We have a large purpose built (2008) surgery funded by the health board. We are a training practice typically running with two trainees. We have a full complement of support staff including Practice Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician and ANP sessions. In line with NHS guidance, we see the value of being able to offer spiritual care as part of a holistic person-centred approach to patient care. We therefore employ a Practice Chaplain who has worked with us for over ten years, with this service expanding into East Dunbartonshire. Our current projects include establishing a ‘youth mental health service’, dedicated frailty visits and a ‘satellite’ clinic into an area of greater deprivation within the practice area.
