An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly Teaching Practice team delivering a compassionate, high-quality service to 14,139 permanently registered patients. This is a new position to cover 6 sessions per week over 3 workings days. One day a week on-call, 15 minutes for in person appointments. Appointments capped at 24 per day as per BMA guidelines. Acute prescription list and share of Docman each day, Home visits only on call days. Home laptop can be provided. DDRB uplift will be honoured annually. Standard BMA Salaried Contract. Post is eligible for Golden Hello payment.
You will be supported by 10 GP Partners, 2 Practice Nurse’s, treatment room, phlebotomist, HCSW and Practice Prescribing Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Hub, Mental Health Nurse, Community Link Worker and highly trained, efficient Administrative team. Local Urgent Care Team provide some home visit cover. We are proud to be a teaching practice.
We believe in a healthy work / life balance and offer flexibility in working hours. We are a friendly very welcoming practice who believe in mutual support. We meet daily for coffee, lunch and have regular clinical meetings to foster collaborative working. We participate in PLT and have regular in house CPD. There is always a GP partner available on site for support.
We work from a large, modern, purpose-built surgery with ample parking. GP would have their own nominated room. We operate the Vision Clinical System and Docman Document Management System.
Applicants are invited from fully qualified GPs with GMC Registration on Lanarkshire Performers Register. Any stage of career welcome.
Our practice is located In Kilsyth and is the only practice in the area.
