Bridge of Allan Health Centre
5 session Maternity Locum from January 2027
Located in the heart of the beautiful spa town of Bridge of Allan, we have an opportunity for a Locum to cover for us on a 12 month fixed term basis for 5 sessions from January 2027.
Our practice looks after over 7100 patients. We currently have 5 GP Partners, 1 ANP, Practice Nurse, HCA, supportive administration team, deputy manager & practice manager. We are a training practice with GPST’s and medical students. We pride ourselves on being a close, enthusiastic and supportive team delivering the best of care for our patients. The practice transitioned to Vision in April 2026 and is now fully established on the system. Applicants with no previous Vision experience needn't worry, as full training and support will be provided.
We are an efficient and well-staffed practice, and feel we have an excellent balance between patient contacts, social interactions and administration time. Here’s a snapshot of what would be expected;
• Competitive rates of pay
• Coffee 10:30 daily
• Approx. 22-24 patients daily (within BMA guidance)
• 15 minute appointments
• Extended hours option (with early finish)
• Fantastic admin team
• On call's included in rotation
• Minimum 2 G.P’s daily
• Full PCIP allocation – PCMHN, APP, ANP, Pharmacy, CTAC
Bridge of Allan is a wonderful town to work in with close commuting links to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Falkirk & Perth numerous shops, coffee shops and restaurants all within close walking distance.
