Gilmore Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Locum GP to cover maternity leave - 4 sessions per week for 8 months starting asap.Working Days: Monday all day with the other two sessions to be agreed.
We are a well-established city centre practice caring for approximately 12,700 patients with a diverse and mixed demographic population. The practice combines high-quality patient care with a strong emphasis on teaching and professional development.
About the Practice
Our clinical team includes:
* 5 GP Partners
* 2 Salaried GPs
* 1 GP Retainer
* Full-time ANP
* 2 Practice Nurses
* 1 Healthcare Assistant
We are an established teaching practice supporting:
* Foundation doctors (FY2)
* GP trainees (ST1–ST3)
* Medical students from both Edinburgh and London medical schools
We are supported by an experienced and highly valued administrative team, including a Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice and strong support for clinicians.
The Role
* 4 sessions per week (All day Monday other 2 sessions to be agreed)
* Mainly face-to-face consulting with some telephone appointments
* 15-minute appointment times
* Low number of home visits
