Dr’s Carse, Byrne & Reilly are looking to recruit a locum to join our welcoming Practice from Mid-September to Mid-November 2026. We are a supportive, forward thinking team, with a practice population of around 5,800 patients.
A typical week would consist of 2 sessions a week beginning mid-September 2026. We operate a triage and routine system with a mixture of 15 minutes face to face and 10 minute telephone appointments, with a low number of hours calls. Admin time is planned into the working day. Software is currently EMIS (migrating to Vision), and Docman.
Our team consists of three partners, salaried GP, Practice Nurse, Health Care Support Worker, and an experienced helpful admin team. We are also supported by a Pharmacy team, Physio, District Nurse, Health Visitors and Community Links Worker. We are a training practice for both GP Trainees and FY2’s, and host senior medical students.
Based in the South Side of Glasgow with a wide demographic mix, the practice is within the spacious Govanhill Health Centre with generous consulting rooms and onsite parking, as well as close to public transport. There is local shops and amenities, as well as a local gym.
