An opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our team.
Victoria Practice is a small, friendly, training Practice of approx 6300 patients, based within Leith Community Treatment Centre.
Our current team is made up of 3 partners, 1 salaried GP, GP trainees, Practice Nurse, Physician Associate, HCA, Physiotherapist, 2 Pharmacists, as well as a small admin team.
Clinicians in the Practice run to 15 minute appointments (face to face and telephone) with 12 booked patients per session and we allocate time to allow coffee breaks throughout the day. There is a low demand for GP home visits and we do not run a duty doctor clinic.
We hold weekly clinical staff meetings and monthly MDT meetings which are attended by our Health Visiting and District Nursing teams. We also arrange 8 weekly Practice Learning afternoons and a clinical education session each month with opportunities to develop any clinical interest.
Informal visits are welcomed.
Hours of work: 6 sessions, preferably Wednesday-Friday however this is negotiable.
Salary: Negotiable
Annual Leave: 6 weeks
Study Leave: 1 week pro rata
