Braesview Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed GP looking to develop their career within a progressive practice. The post has arisen as a result of new national funding, allowing us to further strengthen and expand our clinical team.
While this is a salaried position, we recognise that different GPs have different career aspirations. We would be delighted to support a salaried role; however, for the right candidate there will be the opportunity to explore partnership in the future should there be mutual interest. There is no expectation or requirement for applicants to pursue partnership.
This vacancy is for 6 sessions per week, including 2 sessions on a Friday, with the remaining sessions negotiable. We would also consider fewer sessions for the right candidate.

🏥 Our Team
You will be joining a collaborative and multidisciplinary team comprising:
- 5 GP Partners
- 3 Salaried GPs (including this post)
- 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- 2 Practice Nurses
- 1 Healthcare Assistant
We are further supported by an excellent wider team including:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Mental Health Nurse
- Physiotherapy Practitioners
- Pharmacists
We are also a teaching practice, supporting medical students from the University of Glasgow.

The Practice is based in a purpose-built, modern health board-owned building in Polmont, with:
- On-site district nursing team

- On-site pharmacy (Meadowbank Pharmacy)
Polmont offers beautiful surrounding countryside with excellent transport links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.

💰 Terms and Conditions
Salary: £12,126.41 per session p.a.
Annual Leave: 28 days (pro-rata) + 10 public holidays (pro-rata)

This post requires PVG Scheme membership via Disclosure Scotland. If you are not currently a member for the required regulatory group, a satisfactory application will be required prior to commencement.
