We are looking for a 4 session GP (days to be negotiated but Wednesday and Thursday preferred) starting in early September 2026 to cover maternity leave for our GP retainer. Our intention is to make the post permanent in 2027 for the right candidate and subject to the ongoing availability of enhanced GP funding.
Muirhouse Medical Group is a friendly and thriving practice with over 20,500 patients, 9 partners and 11 salaried GPs in the north of Edinburgh. We are involved in GP and Foundation training and teaching medical students.

Amongst the staff of over 60 people are Physiotherapists, ANPs, Mental Health Nurses, a team of Practice Nurses, a team of pharmacy staff, Counsellors and a large number of administrative and support staff.
