SIGHTHILL GREEN MEDICAL PRACTICE - GP RETAINER REQUIRED FOR 3-4 SESSIONS PER WEEK

An exciting opportunity to join a large friendly training practice in the South West of Edinburgh.

Due to increasing list size  we are looking for a GP Retainer to cover  4 sessions per week.  

·         10400   patients, increasing with surrounding new builds

·         Mixed population

·         South West Edinburgh

·         Health Centre with 2 Practices, Treatment Rm (including new CTAC project), Physio, Health Visitors, District Nurses, Pharmacy, CPN’s, Midwives, all attached to the health centre.

·         Training practice  GPST1/GPST2/GPST3

·         2 ANP’s, Drugs addiction and Mental Health Nurse, experienced PN (including non medical prescriber),  Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Community Link Worker, CHAI,  DWP, housing advice, friendly established admin team, Docman workflow management, Econsult and accuryx .

·         Currently 6 Partners and 6 Salaried GP’s and a GP Retainer

·         Involvement in GP training – vibrant, enthusiastic training practice

·         Support for developing skills may be available

·         Practice covers 60 bed nursing home

Start date – July/Aug onwards
