Salaried GP (2-4 Sessions)
Camelon Medical Practice, Falkirk
Camelon Medical Practice is seeking a Salaried GP for 2-4 sessions per week (sessions negotiable) to join our friendly and supportive team. We welcome applications from motivated and enthusiastic GPs. Start date is flexible.
About the Practice
We are a well‑established training practice with approximately 8,300 patients, based in purpose-built, GP‑owned premises. All GPs have their own consulting rooms.
We have a stable and supportive clinical team and a very low turnover of GPs, which we believe reflects the positive ethos within the practice. Regular team communication is encouraged through twice‑weekly morning huddles, monthly teaching sessions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
Clinical & MDT Support
We benefit from a full complement of PCIP and MDT staff, including:
- Pharmacy team
- Physiotherapists
- Primary care mental health nurse
- Paediatric and adult Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Community treatment room
- Phlebotomy service
The wider team also includes 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant, and an experienced administration and management team.
Training & Development
We are currently a training practice for FY2 doctors, with plans to host GP trainees from next year. Salaried GPs have protected admin time and opportunities to develop personal clinical interests.
Location
The practice is based in Camelon, Falkirk, with excellent transport links:
- 5 minutes from the M876
- Local train station within walking distance
- Easy commuting from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Dunblane, and Cumbernauld
