Nethergate Medical Centre 2 Tay Square, Dundee DD1 1PB

Our clinical team, who have worked in the practice for many years, includes 2 GP partners, 4 Salaried GPs and an experienced ANP.  We also have two Practice Nurses who are developing their roles

We have a friendly, well-staffed, long-standing and experienced administrative team.

We have a good mix of patient groups including students with a low house visiting rate.

The practice can be flexible on a start date and number of sessions for the right candidate.

 

We have previously had Career Start GPs in the past and would be happy to do so again. We also have foundation doctors and medical students on regular placements with us.

We would support and hopefully enable a successful candidate to develop special interests

List size 8,300 mixed patient group across Dundee and Broughty Ferry as well as local student population. Practice area has recently been adjusted to try and rationalize patient list to the west side of Dundee

  • Leased premises – in discussion with Health Board to take over lease
  • Good support from practice team with daily coffee breaks
  • Mentor support available if wished
  • Regular MDT meetings with District Nurse team and DFAHT consultant
  • Vision & Docman systems
  • Undergraduate teaching practice and Fy2 rotations

  • Annual leave 6 weeks, one week study leave pro rata and protected admin time
