Salaried GP Opportunity at The Murray Surgery, East Kilbride
We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a GP to join our supportive, forward‑thinking practice. Based in the heart of East Kilbride, we care for around 14,000 patients in a diverse community and pride ourselves on being a friendly and collaborative team.
Who We Are
The Murray Surgery is a well‑established training practice, actively involved in GP registrar, FY2 and medical student education. Our clinical team includes:
- 5 GP Partners
- 2 ANPs
- Practice Pharmacist
- 3 Prescribing Practice Nurses
- A strong and enthusiastic cohort of resident doctors
We’re also fortunate to have an exceptional medical administration team who manage advanced workflow, document summarising and administrative triage — ensuring our clinicians can focus on patient care.
We have engaged fully with the primary care improvement plan and host a range of health-board staff including pharmacists, mental health nurses, a primary care OT and a community link worker. With both the cluster and locality leads based in the practice, we’re regularly involved in quality improvement and service development.
How We Work
- We adhere closely to BMA Safe Working guidance.
- We use total triage, primarily through an online model (AccuRx)
- Appointment formats are a mix of face‑to‑face and telephone consultations.
- We are a VISION and DOCMAN practice.
