Newbattle Medical Practice is looking for enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP. The number of sessions undertaken each week is open to negotiation. As we operate an online triage system (eConsult), successful applicants can expect to have a high degree of flexibility and control of their working hours. Excellent remuneration package is available plus indemnity costs are covered by the practice. We are happy to support GPs wishing to pursue portfolio careers.
We are a large friendly, innovative and dynamic practice with 7 partners and 11 salaried GPs with a list size of circa 24000 patients, providing a high-quality primary care service in an area with a wide-ranging demographic.
We are a training practice at undergraduate and postgraduate level and have an active internal programme of clinical education and team meetings.
We follow the BMA guidelines for the number of appointments per session and all appointments are 15 minutes duration.
Our modern purpose-built medical centre provides an excellent working environment only 20 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh. We also have a smaller satellite Practice 5 miles away in a neighbouring village.
