6 Session Locum GP
Fixed term role for 3 months
We are looking, ideally, for one GP for to cover all of July, August and September, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week while one of our team takes 3 months parental leave.
This will be a mix of regular sessions with 12 patient contacts per session, 10 acute requests, and associated docman, as well as being part of the duty rota, doing 6 duty days every 38 days. Duty days are paid at an enhanced rate compared to regular days.
Murrayfield is a lovely, well staffed practice, and we are fortunate to have an ANP on Wednesday and Thursday and a Paramedic on Fridays who both carry out house visits and support the duty GP each day.
The ideal person would be able to cover throughout the summer, but we can work around annual leave/holiday plans where required.
We are open to multiple applicants sharing the workload, or working specific days/weeks if you can't manage the whole 3 months.
