Located in the charming coastal town of Tain, ideally located in the edge of the iconic North Coast 500 route, our practice delivers high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse and appreciative population.

Our Practice
- Team: Stable and experienced partnership of 4 partners (2 GPs, 1 ANP and 1 Practice Manager), supported by our excellent team of 1 salaried GP, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, and 1 Healthcare Assistant and administration staff.
- Environment: Modern, purpose-built health centre with spacious consultation rooms and a full complement of NHS Highland community healthcare professionals based on site. Practice list size 3,300.
- Community Hospitals: We provide remote support to two local community hospital and take part in weekly ward rounds working closely with a highly experienced local geriatrician.
- Location: Just 35 miles from Inverness, with an easy and scenic commute.
- Technology: Vision clinical system and Docman document management. Lexacom dictation system
- Culture: A very friendly, sociable, and inclusive team with a strong emphasis on mutual support and work–life balance.
Job Description
- 6-8 sessions a week
- Preferred working days considered, with flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance
- 15 minutes appointments with protective breaks and allocated admin time
- Very low home visit rate and Docman workload
- Duty Doctor largely covered by our highly experienced ANP team
- Opportunity to contribute to care in our two local community hospitals
- No Out of Hours commitments
- This position is eligible for Golden Hello Payment and/or relocation expenses (subject to NHS terms and conditions)
