Ellon Group Practice are seeking an enthusiastic, caring individual to complement our dedicated team. We pride ourselves in providing excellent evidence based patient care & strive for each employee/partner to feel valued & respected.
Our team is comprised of 7 GP Partners and 4 Salaried GPs. Ideally we are looking for a salaried GP for 4 sessions per week with the view of increasing to 6 in the near future. We work together, having implemented a very supportive on call rota, where you will never feel that safety is compromised.
A paper light, EMIS & Docman practice, we strive to embrace new technology for the benefit of both our patients &staff.
We are an undergraduate/GP trainee practice, hosting a postgraduate educational programme with visiting specialist Consultant speakers.
Our hardworking Practice Management Team endeavour to reduce our administrative workload & time considerably. We are supported by 2 Practice Pharmacists, 3 ANPs, Chronic Disease Management, Minor Illness & Treatment Room Nurses. In addition to this, other multi-disciplinary support teams are also based in the Health Centre including First Contact Physio & Pharmacotherapy.
House visits are minimal as we have a full time Advanced Care Practitioner provided by the Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership.
We have achieved a good work/life balance, allowing time to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and beaches out with our working hours.
