Due to an expanding local population, we are looking for a 5th Partner to join our friendly semi-rural practice Alyth Health Centre which is located approximately 18 miles from Dundee and approximately 22 miles from Perth. We cover the communities of Alyth, Meigle and parts of Newtyle and Coupar Angus, then the beautiful area around Glen Isla and Backwater Reservoir.
We are a close-knit team who provide a friendly and supportive working environment and pride ourselves in delivering traditional family medical care to our patient population of just over 4600.

- Daily clinical meetings and regular team meetings
- GP workload in line with BMA recommendations
- No upfront buy-in required
- Shared on-call rota
We have an enthusiastic clinical team with an excellent skill mix consisting of 4 part-time partners and 3 part-time nurses who all enjoy the full support of our welcoming, loyal and highly skilled administrative team. We also benefit from community nurses, mental health nurse, pharmacy team and CTAC services on site provided by the health board.
We offer 10-minute face to face appointments along with 10-minute telephone consultations. Our surgery has 11 appointments in the morning, visits tend to be light and are shared equally. Afternoon surgery consists of two short surgeries with a break in the middle to do paperwork or infrequent visits if you’re on-call. The on-call rota is shared equally.
We are a teaching practice and have HCP-Med (MBChB for Healthcare Professionals) Students from University of Edinburgh Medical School.
