We are seeking a GP locum to work with us from April 2026 until December 2026.
The GP locum will work as a full member of our friendly and professional GP team, alongside our GP Partners, Salaried GP's, ST1, ST3 and FY2 trainees. The position is for 6 sessions per week, with our preference for the working days being on Mondays, Tuesdays and either Fridays or Thursdays.
The role will involve the full range of GP activities, including patient consultations, home visits, admin, and acting as duty doctor as part of the GP rota.
We are happy to consider newly qualified GP's as well as those with post-qualification experience.
Tranent is an expanding town in East Lothian, approximately 12 miles to the east of Edinburgh. It is easily accessible from Edinburgh, being just off the A1, and also from the attractive towns and villages of East Lothian such as North Berwick, Haddington, Gullane, Aberlady and Dunbar.
