Salaried GP 6 Sessions (Maternity Cover)

Dingwall Medical Group is looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our team to cover a period of maternity leave from October 2025 (date to be confirmed). The post is for up to 12 months, and ideally we are looking for Monday, Thursday, and Friday cover (6 sessions).

 

We are a semi-rural GP Practice based in the Health Centre in Dingwall with a population size of 11,600 patient. We cover a large geographical area from the western edge of the Black Isle, Evanton in the North, West to Achnasheen village and South as far as Muir of Ord.      

 

We are a friendly, motivated and well-organised practice who very much work as part of a team, supporting each other to deliver high quality patient centred care. The practice consists of 9 Partners, 3 salaried GP’s, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare Assistants, and an experienced team of administration staff. We use Vision and Docman clinical systems, and Lexacom digital dictation.

 

We have strong working links with the wider MDT (pharmacists, physiotherapists, community nursing, social work, primary mental health, etc.) which are based in the Health Centre.

 

We are looking for a GP who is enthusiastic about providing a high standard of medical services within a multi-disciplinary team, and shares our interest in medical education. We are a GPST training practice and host students from Aberdeen, Dundee & St Andrews University (ScotGEM).
