Bishopton Medical Practice is a friendly and supportive, forward-thinking Practice of over 11,900 patients located in a beautiful part of Renfrewshire, with good transport links via road and rail. Our clinical team consists of 5 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, 2 PNs and GP Trainees. We are the sole Practice operating out of Bishopton Health Centre (owned by Renfrewshire HSCP) which is shared with attached staff.
We are a Practice that offers both joint injections and contraceptive implant/coil services. We also provide cover locally to Erskine Hospital (Nursing Home), Ailsa Lodge (Care Home), and the Good Shepherd Centre (secure & intensive service/facility for vulnerable young people).
We are undergoing significant growth from a large local housing development (Dargavel), and to this end we are looking to expand our team into our newly built satellite building when it opens this year in late summer/early Autumn. As such, we are now recruiting for a total of 10 Salaried GP sessions, between two successful applicants.
We are also a busy, well-organised GP Teaching and Training Practice, with two very experienced GP Trainers. As part of our succession planning, we are looking for one of the successful candidates to either already be a qualified GP Trainer, or indeed willing to commit to begin training as a GP Trainer within 2-3 years of joining our team.
