Due to recent retirement and a reduction in GP sessions, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our well established team. We are flexible in terms of sessions and days to be covered and would be happy to employ 2 part time Salaried GPs if fewer sessions suit. We aim for a September start date.
We are a well-established GP Partnership across 2 prime, Glasgow south locations operating a split site practice between the Pollokshields and Giffnock areas. The practice looks after a population of circa 10,000 patients. We are a friendly and supportive practice with 6 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, Pharmacy Team and an excellent hard working team of Management / Administration staff, all working across both sites. The Practice is also supported by both District Nursing and Health Visitor teams.
The Practice is supported by excellent transport links from M8, M74, M77 and the Clyde Tunnel. We are a practice delivering high quality primary care services and are high achieving in relation to delivering our contractual requirements and enhanced services.
We are also an established and enthusiastic training practice (ST1/3 and medical students & FY2) and there is ample opportunity to contribute towards training. We also support and encourage clinicians to develop their special professional interests. The Practice believe in communication and hold regular practice/board meetings and have an interest in strategy and practice innovation and growth.
Candidates should be registered with the General Medical Council, General Practitioner Register and should meet the criteria for joining the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Performers List.
