Barony Medical Centre located in Springburn are looking to recruit a GP Retainer.
The Practice consists of 5 partners, ANP, Practice Nurse, HCSW, a Link Worker, Welfare Advisor, an excellent Administration Team, attached District Nursing, Pharmacotherapy Service, and Health Visitors. The Practice also have access to the HSCP Treatment room and Phlebotomy Service.
The post is for 4 sessions with days negotiable. We can offer a session non-clinical administration session every fortnight. We offer 15 minute appointments and low house visit rate (triaged prior to acceptance). We have a weekly staff coffee meeting, monthly educational meetings (helps with the CPD), and we meet for lunch daily. The Practice also has a “Gym” for those who like to exercise, and easy access to Tesco, Costco, Lidl and local coffee shops.
We offer flexible working to allow for childcare arrangements like nursery or school drop-offs/pick-ups. The retainer can be part of the duty GP on-call with home visits only if they would wish to be for the variation in their working day.
We would welcome newly qualified GP's who are part of the Retainer scheme who will be supported by all clinical staff as well as GP’s on the Retainer scheme looking for a change. We are a 2 minute drive from the M8 Junction 15 with on-site car parking. Our IT system is Vision and Docman. IT training will be supplied if unfamiliar.
