Vacancy – Locum Practice Nurse, Part time – 16 hrs – 1st July 2026-31st December 2026 (open to negotiation)
Salary will be competitive and dependent on skills and experience (job description available upon request)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Tryst Medical Centre for a 6 month locum post.
Tryst Medical Centre is a 4 Partner practice with approximately 6,300 patients, supported by a salaried GP, Senior PN, HCA, ANP, APP, MHN, Pharmacy team and admin staff. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active and highly motivated nurse. Applicants should be RGN qualified & be NMC registered.
Practice Nurse experience is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all core Practice Nurse Duties including the below:
- Near patient monitoring
- Assisting in minor surgery procedures
- Health promotion
- Chronic Disease Management
- Smear Sampling
Our clinical systems are EMIS PCS and Docman, therefore excellent IT skills are essential as are excellent professional and patient communication skills.
